A significant number of local residents and domestic tourists yesterday (October 14) visited Jomtien Beach to enjoy warm weather and clear water.
It was noted by visitors to Jomtien Beach that the water was clearer than before as the weather is cooler and due to less boats and other factors. Sand under the sea could be seen clearly, which is rare for the area.
Foreign expats and Thais families were both seen enjoying activities such as swimming and sunbathing on the beach. Beach chair and food vendors appeared to be doing steady service after days of rain and poor weather.
Meanwhile, earlier this week domestic tourists and local residents flocked to Bangsaen Beach in Chonburi to enjoy the water there which also was noticably clearer.
