Beach renovation underway for ‘NEO Pattaya, 160 million baht beach renovation starting this month

The Pattaya City Mayor has inspected Pattaya Beach for the renovation to the so-called ‘NEO Pattaya’ as a new international business centre.

Pattaya beach is planned to be renovated with a 160 million baht budget. The renovation will consist of repaired and renewed footpaths, more green zones, more parking areas, lighting, benches and areas to relax and underground toilets. Exercise areas and playgrounds have also been proposed.

The renovation is starting this month with a 160 million baht budget.

Yesterday afternoon a team of the Pattaya City officials led by the Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem inspected Pattaya beach for a renovation planning session.

Mayor Sonthaya said, “ There will be more green zones along the beach which is about 3 kilometers in total.”

“More facilities will be available for tourists such as toilets and shower zones.”

“More lights are to be added too with staffers patrolling for safety in the area.”
