Fire completely destroys brand new pub and restaurant in Chonburi – VIDEO

A severe fire has damaged a new pub and restaurant in the Panthong District. The cost of damages is estimated at about 10 million baht.

Lieutenant Colonel Songphon Thongparb of the Panthong Police was notified of the fire yesterday afternoon in the Ban Kao sub-district.

Police, emergency responders, fire fighters and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the fire was heavily ablaze.

It took about one hour for fire fighters to control the fire. The restaurant and pub was totally destroyed.

The owner, Mr. Songsak Saelee, 36, told The Pattaya News that the the pub and restaurant had just been opened on September 12.

He estimated the damage costs at about 10 million. Witnesses claim the fire initially started from the ceiling.

Forensic Police are conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. There were no injuries or deaths.
