Chonburi-

A couple were reportedly having a domestic dispute when their pickup truck flipped in Mueang Chonburi yesterday.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 2:30 PM on a Motorway Road in Na Pa.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find an overturned pickup truck on the road.

The driver, Anucha Kawanich, 30, told police that the couple was driving back from fishing in Bangsaen.

The driver’s wife, who asked not to be named, told The Pattaya News that during the trip they got into an intense verbal argument. The exact nature of the argument was not disclosed. Her husband, distracted by the argument, swerved and lost control of the vehicle causing the accident.

They had sustained only minor injuries. The driver’s wife warned other drivers and passengers about arguing while driving.

The driver was charged with reckless driving, according to Mueang Chonburi police.
