Overnight fire damages fifteen luxury cars at Bangkok area garage

Bangkok-

An overnight fire destroyed a total of fifteen luxury cars at a garage located not far from Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok.

Narin Kaveeprahmin, Deputy Inspector (Investigation)at the Prawet Police Station first received notification of the fire around 11:40 PM last night. The fire was located on Soi Krungthep Kreetha twenty along a parallel road on the outbound motorway.

It took firefighters from the Prawet area thirty minutes to put out the fire. Firefighters at the scene stated there were some delays due to issues with opening the door into the interior of the garage.

Nobody was injured during the fire, however, the estimated damage is around forty million baht at this time with fifteen cars in various stages of damage or destruction.

The cause of the fire is unknown and will be investigated by Bangkok fire department officials this morning.
