Sick dog rescued from construction pit in Pattaya

Pattaya-

A sick dog was rescued from a construction pit in Pattaya last night.

Rescue workers were notified of the incident after midnight in South Pattaya.

Rescue workers and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a sick black male dog in a construction pit where underground cables are being installed.

Rescue workers pulled the weak dog up from the pit. It was later taken to an animal hospital for treatment and further diagnosis.

Local residents nearby told The Pattaya News that the dog was walking on the side of the road before falling into the construction pit. The dog had been weakly barking for help from the pit. This is the second incident in a week with local construction pits, a few days prior a young man drove his motorbike into a pit but avoided injury.
