UPDATE: Forensic Police investigate after thieves robbed Chinese national at gunpoint in a Banglamung luxury house

The Forensic Police are investigating after thieves robbed a Chinese national at gunpoint before speeding away with a reported three million baht cash in Nongprue last night.

Police are hunting for thieves who reportedly robbed a Chinese national at gunpoint in a house in Nongprue where after they sped away with items worth a reported ten million baht. A police update corrected that amount to an estimated three million baht.

The Nongprue Police Colonel Chitdaecha Songhong told The Pattaya News that Forensic Police in Region 2 are now collecting evidence at the house in question.

Chinese victims, Mr Su Chi Hong, 38 and Mr. Su Long Chang, 31, told police that there were about three to five suspects.

The suspects reportedly threatened them at gunpoint to open a safe box. They stole three million baht in cash from the safe box.

At this stage police are unable to identify if the suspects are Thais or foreigners. The investigation is continuing at this time.
