Construction debris falls from 23 story building and damages vehicle in Pattaya

A local resident has filed a formal complaint with the Pattaya Police after construction debris fell from a 23 story building under construction in Central Pattaya.

The incident happened at 7:30 PM last night at a building on Chalerm Prakiat road.

The debris landed on a white Honda Jazz belonging to 51 year old Khok Kriat.

The victim said he was not present at the time and was contacted by another person at the area. His vehicle was severely damaged by the falling debris.

Mr. Kriat said he spoke to the supervisor of the building site this evening who has reportedly promised to cover all damages. Kriat also filed a police report to record the incident. Kriat will be following up with the building supervisor on Tuesday, it was noted.

Kriat wanted to warn other local residents to be aware and alert around under construction buildings and urged construction teams to ensure all safety protocols were being followed.
