56 year old woman killed after her motorbike collides with sedan in Banglamung

A driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after her motorbike collided with a sedan in Banglamung this afternoon.

The Banglamung Police was notified of the accident this afternoon on Frontage Road 7 in Takiean Tai.

Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Ms. Sangwean Nuandet, 56, on the road. Nearby, police found a damaged motorbike.

The damaged sedan was also found on the road. The driver had already been taken to the Banglamung Police Station for interrogation.

Police checked CCTV footage and they found that the motorbike was changing lanes from left to right and was believed to be attempting to make a U-turn.

The sedan, which was driving with high speed according to police, crashed into the motorbike. The driver, as noted, was detained based on evidence from the CCTV.

Banglamung police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action.
