Unidentified man seriously injured after hitting road barrier in Pattaya

Pattaya-

An unidentified Thai man was seriously injured this morning after hitting a road barrier in Pattaya.

The accident happened at about 2:30 AM heading towards Soi Khao Talo on the railway road near Wat Tham Samakkhi.

The victim, who appears to be about thirty years old, hit a road barrier at what appears to be high speed. Doctors from Bangkok Hospital along with Sawang Boriboon rescue workers helped get the victim, who was severely injured and unconscious, to the hospital.

A witness, Mr. Thosaphon Sri Kromaraj, age 46, was driving home with friends when he saw the victim lying on the road next to his wrecked motorbike. He immediately called for medical assistance.

The victim remains in medical treatment as of this morning. A video can be viewed here.
