Phan Thong, Chonburi-

Two Cambodian men were seriously injured this weekend after three co-workers attacked them with knives, according to Phan Thong police.

The incident took place at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 28 at village number ten in the Phan Thong sub-district of Chonburi.

Two Cambodian men, who were only named as Rai Rai, 28 and Suporn, 30, were both bleeding from several slash wounds on their arms and torso. Rescue workers provided aid at the scene and then brought the men to a local hospital.

Mr. Suporn claimed that he and Rai Rai had been drinking in their room when there was a knock at the door. They opened the door and three other Cambodian men armed with knives attacked them, for what he called no reason at all.

Phan Thong police investigated and located the three suspects, who were not named to the press, nearby. All three admitted to the act and claimed they were verbally disrespected by the two men at work. Due to the verbal insult they decided to attack the men with knives. The three men were reportedly intoxicated.

All three men remain in custody, according to Phan Thong police.
