3,500 books donated to Pattaya prison, campaign continues and you can help!

Pattaya-

3,500 books have been donated to the Pattaya Remand Prison this week to support reading skills and provide activities for prisoners.

The donations this week were led by Ms. Paradee Pueaksopa from the Banglamung District office and the Pattaya Remand Prison Commander Mr. Manop Chomchuen.

The donation campaign is aimed to give unused books for prisoners which they can read and improve their knowledge. This is the second time the donation project has taken place as the remand prison looks to provide more activities for prisoners.

People can donate unused books, in which the campaign is ongoing, to prisoners at these places below:

1.Central Festival Pattaya Beach

2.Nern Plunwab Community Centre

3. Rung Rueang Community Centre

4.Representativse from Sattahip – Rayong.

5.The Banglamung District Office

6. Nong Yai Pattaya Community Centre

7.Terminal 21 Pattaya

Books will be collected before being transferred to the Pattaya Remand Prison. Both English and Thai language books are desired. Books that teach skills, languages, business advice or provide motivational support are preferred.
