Three people seriously injured after pickup truck crashes into pole and sedan in Chonburi

Three people have sustained serious injuries after a pickup truck lost control yesterday before crashing into a power pole and a sedan in Bang Bueang.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident yesterday afternoon on Nongchark – Panat Nikhom Road in Nong Bondang.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck, the damaged sedan and the damaged power pole.

The pickup truck driver was named as Mr. Tanya Taptim, 25 and his passenger is Ms. Arpara Naetraban, 19.

The sedan driver was named as Mrs Sumalee Jaroenrat, 50. They had all sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

A witness, Mr. Songcahi Wodthong, 21, told The Pattaya News that the pickup truck was driving with high speed in the rain. The pickup truck lost control before crashing into the central reservation and power pole.

The pickup truck then crashed into a sedan on the opposite lane.

However police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
