Swedish man and his Thai wife injured after chasing after suspect who snatched gold necklace in Chonburi

A Swedish man and his Thai wife have sustained multiple injuries chasing after a suspect who snatched their gold necklace in Nongprue.

This afternoon Mr. Andersson Alrper Gustav, 72, Swedish national and his Thai wife Ms. Somboon Borrirak, 72 explained the story to the Pattaya News reporters.

On the 7th of last month, they were travelling on a motorbike in Soi Khao Talo. A suspect on a motorbike had snatched a gold necklace from Mr. Gustav who was the motorbike driver.

They followed the suspect but fell off the motorbike as they were not familiar with the route he used.

Police released CCTV footage of the suspect but are still hunting for him. The victims hope that by telling more people about their story by bringing it to the local press the suspect will be caught faster.
