Motorbike driver seriously injured after colliding with car in Pattaya

Pattaya- A motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after colliding with a sedan in North Pattaya last night.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 9:00 PM at a North Pattaya intersection on Sukhumvit Road.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the motorbike driver who had sustain serious injuries on the road. He was not immediately identified.

Nearby, the rescue staff found a damaged sedan and a damaged motorbike.

The sedan driver, 30 year old Natanon Rueaksanga, was waiting at the scene.

A witness Mr. Rueng Suta, 57, a taxi motorbike driver, told The Pattaya News that the motorbike was taking a u-turn while the sedan driven by Natanon was coming from the opposite way.

Natanon was unable to avoid the collision, according to Mr. Rueng.

Pattaya police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action and reviewing CCTV.
