Two street dogs rescued after falling into sewer drain in Chonburi

Bang Sai, Chonburi-

Two Soi (stray dogs that live on the street) were rescued in healthy condition after falling into a sewer drain in the Bang Sai area of Chonburi this morning.

The incident took place in front of the Wat Chong Lom School in Bang Sai at 9:00 AM this morning, August 13, 2020.

Local villagers had heard the two dogs barking for help and spotted them beneath a sealed steel grate this morning. It was unclear how the dogs had managed to get to that part of the drainage system as the grates in the area appeared to have no holes or ability to enter. Both dogs, according to rescue workers called, were hungry, confused and anxious.

A forklift was called to remove the heavy iron grating and rescue workers successfully removed both street dogs from the drainage system. Both animals were in healthy condition and ran away shortly after the incident.
