Police found a blue Honda PCX motorbike that they believe was used in the shooting in front of an apartment building in Soi Five in Nongprue yesterday evening. This was attained due to tracing CCTV of the motorbikes route throughout the city after fleeing the scene of the shooting. With the assistance of the apartment manager they determined which room the owner of the motorbike resided in.
With a court warrant, police inspected a rented room in the apartment complex, number fifteen. Police located both a firearm and clothes that they believed were used in the shooting. However, the two suspects were not present at the scene.
A report from associated media stated police later traced and arrested the two prime suspects in Bangsaen and they were being taken back to Pattaya for further investigation. This occurred early this morning and their names were stated as 39 year old Manas Imnam and 45 year old Niphon Panthong. Pattaya Police say they are still working on a motive but believe it is debt related.
