Pattaya-
Local residents were shocked after a Swedish man was found hanging at an apartment balcony in Naklua, Pattaya this afternoon.

Lieutenant Colonel Nattawat Plearnjit of the Pattaya City Police was notified of the incident at 1:30 PM at the apartment in Soi Poetisan 3.
Police, Sawang Boriboon rescue workers and The Pattaya News arrived at a room on the second floor of the apartment building to find the body of a Swedish man, 52 years old (The Pattaya News has withheld his name pending embassy and family notification. Additionally, per editorial policy with a death under investigation the name of the apartment complex has been withheld).
His body was found hanging shirtless from a cable tie on the balcony, exposed to the street and bystanders. No sign of struggle was found on his body or in his room. There was no information or note giving a clue as to why the incident happened, according to Pattaya Police.

His body was taken to a local hospital to find the exact cause of death.
A motorbike taxi driver, Mr. Wat Suwannasaroj, 56, told The Pattaya News that while he was waiting for a customer at a taxi stand nearby, a pedestrian told him that he saw someone was hanging from a balcony window at the building. Wat ran to the scene and called police.
Nattawat stated that no witnesses had come forward to say they saw the alleged incident when it took place. At this time police believe the victim died by suicide.
