Thailand Center for Covid-19 confirms all eleven “high risk” contacts of Egyptian soldier who tested positive for Covid-19 are not infected

Rayong-

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, confirmed tonight that eleven close contacts of an Egyptian soldier who tested positive for Covid-19 and went to a shopping mall in Rayong are negative for the virus.

The group includes three hotel managers and staff, four van drivers and four maids. All are considered high risk as they had direct contact with the 43 year old Egyptian soldier who tested positive for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, hundreds of low risk people who were either at the same hotel or shopping center as the soldier also tested negative for the virus today.

The CCSA stated that despite the negative tests all tested will be required to complete a fourteen day quarantine period out of precaution.
