Thai Air Asia stated this afternoon that they will be returning to full domestic service in Thailand next month, with all routes and flights returning for a total of 23 destinations and 25 routes in Thailand.
Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, Chief Executive Officer Thai Air Asia, told Associated Press that Thai Air Asia had been slowly ramping up its domestic routes since May and was now set to be at full internal domestic capacity to help promote tourism in July.
This includes routes such as Chiang Mai-Hat Yai, Chiang Mai-Pattaya (U-Tapao), Hat Yai-Pattaya (U-Tapao) and Khon Kaen-Hat Yai, for a total of 25 flight routes with 68 flights (round-trip) per day.
Santisuk also said that Thai Air Asia is taking every possible precaution to ensure safety of passengers and utilizing proper hygiene measures on their flights to make sure all who fly with them feel safe and secure. This includes features such as special air filters and hygiene screening measures.
