Thailand announces five new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus, all imported from Saudi Arabia

Bangkok-

The Spokesperson for the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration has announced five new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus this morning at a press conference in Bangkok.

All five were from Thai nationals recently repatriated from Saudia Arabia and who have been undertaking a fourteen day compulsory state quarantine.

Today is the 25 day in a row with no locally spread confirmed or recorded cases in the entire country of Thailand.

Thailand has now had a total of 3,146 cases of the virus with 3,008 having fully recovered and been released from hospitals.

There have been 58 deaths since the start of the virus outbreak in Thailand.

Thailand has stated several times their current “goal” is to reach 28 days in a row with no confirmed locally spread cases. This date would be Monday, if reached.
