Thai Meteorological Department forecasts another very rainy day for Pattaya, most of Thailand

Pattaya-

The Thai Meteorological Department, or TMD, has forecast another very rainy day for Thailand today following several days of rain.

In a warning they stated that some areas could face severe flooding and heavy storms especially in the North and Northeast of Thailand.

Chonburi has been having scattered showers already this morning and are expected to continue having regular storms, some with heavy rain, until at least mid day with the evening clearing up.

This is due to a combination of a moderate Southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Thailand and a low pressure cell that still covers Laos and upper Vietnam.

Mostly cloudy and overcast skies are expected throughout the day for the Pattaya area.
