Thailand reports zero new confirmed cases of Covid-19, 22 days in a row with no locally spread cases

Bangkok-

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, in Bangkok in combination with the Ministry of Public Health and Department of Disease Control announced this morning that Thailand had zero new confirmed or recorded cases of Covid-19 discovered in the past 24 hours.

This is the second day in a row with zero cases and the 22 day in a row with no newly discovered locally spread cases nationwide.

Thailand has had a total of 3,135 people infected with 2,993 people fully recovered from the disease. Six more people recovered and were released from hospitals overnight.

84 people remain in hospitals for treatment of the disease nationwide.

There have been a total of 58 deaths.

Thailand has stated their current goal to feel confident about the situation with Covid-19 internally is to reach 28 days without a single new confirmed locally spread case, which if it happens would take place next Monday, June 22.
