The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has warned of the potential of heavy rain and thunderstorms for a large swath of Thailand effective for the next several days.
The warning comes due to a combination of a Southwest monsoon across the Andaman sea and Thailand as well as a low pressure cell that is currently covering upper parts of Vietnam and Laos.
Officials with the TMD have warned that the next two days could bring the potential of heavy rain and storms, including in the Pattaya and Chonburi areas.
