One new case of Covid-19 Coronavirus announced in Thailand, an imported case

Bangkok-

The Ministry of Public Health, in partnership with the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, announced one new confirmed case of the Covid-19 Coronavirus discovered in Thailand earlier today.

The new case is an imported one from a Thai national recently being repatriated from overseas.

Today marks the 20 day in a row with no new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus found locally spread in all of Thailand.

Thailand now has a total of 3, 135 new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus since the start of the infection earlier this year.

Of those, 2987 have full recovered and been released from hospitals and 58 have passed away.

Officials with the CCSA have stated they are aiming to reach 28 days with no new locally spread cases of the virus to be considered safe internally from the virus and focus nearly entirely on border control.
