Thai Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration records four new confirmed cases of the virus, all imported

Bangkok-

At a press conference at the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, in Bangkok the spokesperson for the CCSA, Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, announced four new confirmed cases of the Covid19 virus this morning.

All four cases are imported cases from Thai Nationals recently returned from being repatriated from overseas.

Two cases are from India, one is from Pakistan and the last case is from Madagascar.

All four went directly into state quarantine and had no overall contact with the general public.

Thailand has not recorded a single locally spread case nationwide in sixteen days. The CCSA has stated that their current goal is 28 days without a single confirmed and recorded case in the country before they feel confident in the virus being virtually non existent in the country at a local level.

Thailand now has 3,125 total cases of the virus with 2,981 of those cases fully recovered and released from hospitals. The country has had 58 deaths from the virus.
