Thai Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration moves to three press briefings a week due to improved Covid19 situation in Thailand

Bangkok-

Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, the spokesman for the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration in Bangkok, also known as the CCSA, confirmed this afternoon that the center would be moving to three briefings a week due to the improved situation with the Covid19 Coronavirus in the country.

The briefings would be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, including a English language briefing.

The other days would be a short briefing by the Ministry of Public Health. If there was an urgent or emergency situation the Center would hold an unscheduled briefing, he added.

Weekend briefings would no longer take place at this time unless there was an emergency, he added.

He noted, however, this didn’t mean the staff were taking a break. They were focused around Phase four and lifting final restrictions and guidelines around businesses and working hard on those venues, such as entertainment, bars, amusement parks, competition sports and concerts.
