Thailand announces eight new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus

Bangkok-

Dr. Panprapa Yongtrakul, the co spokesperson of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration or CCSA, announced eight new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus in Thailand this morning.

All eight cases are imported cases from Thai Nationals being repatriated from overseas.

This marks the thirteenth day in a row with zero new confirmed locally spread cases countrywide in Thailand.

Thailand now has a total of 3,112 total cases with 2,972 of those recovered and released from hospitals. There have been 58 deaths in the country.

Thailand is set to discuss releasing the fourth and final phase of Covid-19 Coronavirus closures and restrictions later this week, the CCSA noted. The country remains on track, Dr. Panprapa noted, to allow all businesses to reopen internally by July First.
