Thailand announces one new confirmed case of the Covid-19 Coronavirus

Bangkok-

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration or CCSA announced one new imported case of the Covid-19 Coronavirus this morning.

The case is a Thai National recently returned from Saudi Arabia who went directly into state quarantine.

This marks the ninth day in a row with zero new confirmed locally spread cases nationwide.

Thailand now has a total of 3,084 cases since the start of the outbreak earlier this year with 2,968 of those cases recovered and released from hospitals.

Two more patients were released overnight leaving only 58 people in hospitals under treatment for the virus nationwide. There have been 58 deaths since the start of the outbreak.
