Rules for movie theaters post Covid-19, no eating or drinking during film and spaced seating

Thailand-

The Thai Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA released the rules for the re-opening of movie theaters which are allowed to open effective from Monday, June first in Thailand.

The new rules are designed to help encourage social distancing and prevent any possible spread of the Covid19 Coronavirus.

The rules include:

-No eating or drinking in the movie theater. Patrons can eat concession food outside but the movie theater should have a properly spaced eating area that encourages social distancing, with partitions.

-Up to two people can sit next to each other. Others must be spaced out at least three seats apart. People must not be seated directly in front or behind of others.

-No film festivals or non stop screenings are allowed.

-Movie theaters must be fully sanitized and cleaned after every viewing.

-Masks must be worn at all times during a movie.

-Movie theater staff will be asked to enforce the rules around eating, drinking and social distancing in theaters.
