Pattaya Police Chief and Thai celebrity chef help cook for the needy in Pattaya City

The Pattaya City Police have continued a project to cook food for the needy and unemployed in Pattaya yesterday evening, culminating in a fun and lighthearted cook-off between the Pattaya City Police Chief and a celebrity chef popular on Thai television.

The project is designed for local residents who are unemployed or furloughed due to the current Covid19 situation.

Yesterday afternoon at the Pattaya City Police Station, the Pattaya City Police chief Col Khemmarin Pissamai took on Thai celebrity Chef Kengraratwat Wichianrat, from the show Iron Chef Thailand. The Police Chief is wearing the red chef’s hat in the video below.

They cooked roughly one hundred meals for the needy in Pattaya yesterday. They have provided proper physical distancing, hygiene standards and a queue system for diners, all who ate for free.
