Thailand announces three new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus this morning

The spokesman of the Center for Covid-19 Coronavirus Situation Administration, Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, confirms three additional cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus this morning.

The three cases are all locally spread cases, however are all direct close contact of previous confirmed patients who have already been in quarantine as a precaution.

Two cases are in Nonthaburi, which is in the greater Metropolitan area of Bangkok and one is in Phuket, Dr. Taweesin said.

This brings the total number of cases in Thailand to 3,031, with 2,857 people completely recovered from the virus.

There have been a total of 56 deaths since the start of the infection in Thailand.

118 patients remain in hospitals across the country for treatment of the disease.

Chonburi, where Pattaya is located, reached 24 days in a row with no confirmed recorded cases of the virus.
