Thailand announces six new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus

Bangkok-

The Center for Covid19 Coronavirus Situation Administration held its daily press conference this morning led by Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman, where he announced six new cases of the Covid19 Coronavirus were confirmed in the country in the past day.

Four of the cases were from Phuket which we first reported on yesterday afternoon.

The remaining two cases were a six year old boy who lived with a previous confirmed case from Narathiwat from several days previously and a Thai man in Yala at the Malaysian Border who was found through proactive testing.

Thailand now has a total of 3015 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus since the start of the infection earlier this year. 2796 people have been recovered and released from treatment. A total of 56 deaths have taken place.
