Pattaya Police catch five curfew breakers, four test positive for drugs

Pattaya-

Pattaya City Law Enforcement reported through their social media channels this morning that five curfew breakers were arrested overnight in the Pattaya area.

Of the five, four tested positive for usage of illegal drugs. The exact drugs the suspects tested positive for were not stated in the report.

Thailand currently remains under a National Curfew from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM daily as part of the countries efforts to control the potential spread of the Covid19 Coronavirus.

The names of the suspects were withheld by the police.

A firm reminder was also given by law enforcement that penalities for violating curfew are stiff with violators facing potentially up to two years in jail and up to a 100,000 baht fine. These fall under a current emergency decree across the country mandating Covid19 Coronavirus restrictions and rules.
