Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 9:30PM in Soi Tung Klom Tanman in Nongprue.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find an overturned pickup truck on the side of the road.

The driver, 34 year old Mr. Worawut Suwanthada who was admittedly intoxicated, had sustained several minor injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

The driver claimed a dog had run in front of his pickup truck. He allegedly tried to avoid the collision before crashed into a tree.

This is the second accident in several days in which a driver claimed they were avoiding a dog which caused an accident. An incident with two British men this week was also allegedly caused by a dog.
