Thailand announces 19 new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus, 1 more death

Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration in Bangkok, announced nineteen new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus in Thailand this morning.

This is the lowest number of cases in over a month and according to officials signs that the curve continues to be on the downward trend.

There was one additional death, a taxi driver associated with the largest cluster Thailand has had regarding a boxing stadium. This brings the total number of deaths to 48.

109 more patients have fully recovered and been released from the hospital bringing the total of recovered cases to 2,108.

Only 655 people remain in the hospital for treatment in Thailand.

There were no additional cases found in the Chonburi province today. These results come as officials discuss possibly easing some lockdown restrictions at the end of this month.
