Pattaya City Hall and City employees get an extra day off every week to help fight spread of Covid-19

Pattaya-

In an announcement made from City Hall today, Pattaya Mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem announced that all Pattaya City employees not directly working with the Covid-19 response team will get an additional day off to “Help fight Covid-19 and to stay at home.”

As a result, nearly every regular Pattaya City Hall service will be closed every Friday, which is the chosen day for the additional holiday.

All essential employees, such as those on the Covid-19 response team, will continue to work and be available.

This is designed to have less people gathering, according to the Mayor, and help stop the spread of Covid-19. Many positions affected are already working from home, Pattaya City officials have added.

If you have questions if this will affect any services needed, please call the City contact center at 1337.
