Bangkok-
Thailand has announced a total of 50 more cases of Covid-19 this morning and 1 additional death, according to the daily press conference by the Thailand Covid-19 Situational Response Center.
A total of 2,473 people have had the disease and 33 have passed away.
1013 people have been released and completely recovered with 73 people being released in the past 24 hours.
The death was described as a 43 year old Thai Woman in Chachoengsao.
Chonburi had a total of three new cases today, as released by the Chonburi Public Relations on their social media accounts. This brings the total number of cases in Chonburi to 79, with 35 in Banglamung which is where Pattaya is located.
The cases were described as follows:
-A 38 year old Thai man in Banglamung who caught the disease from driving for foreigners who had the disease previously.
-A 45 year old Australian man in Banglamung who is being contact traced and investigated.
-A 25 year old Thai man in Panthong who is a confirmed close contact of a previous case.
56 people remain under investigation in the Chonburi area, the majority of these people are currently being kept at the Grand Bella Hotel in Pattaya.
44 people remain in treatment in Chonburi, with 33 previously recovered and released. Chonburi has had two deaths, both foreigners.
