Chonburi Province announces three new confirmed cases of Covid19 and first confirmed death

Chonburi Province released its daily update through its social media channels this morning in regards to the current situation with the Covid-19 Coronavirus.

The Province, which includes Banglamung, where Pattaya is located, recorded three additional confirmed cases of Covid-19.

The province also reported one  death, a patient with a prior heart condition who had been confirmed on March 28th. This is the first Chonburi death. For privacy reasons, further details were not given.

The details of the three new cases are as follows:

-A 39 year old Thai man in Ban Bueang infected from a Bangkok case he had close contact with.

-A 23 year old Thai man in Banglamung who is being contact traced and investigated.

-A 67 year old Thai man in Banglamung who had close contact with a previous case.

A total of 26 cases have been recovered and released. There are currently 79 people under investigation for potentially having the disease.
