Chonburi-
This afternoon a British man, named only as Dennis to the press, was seriously injured and later passed away at a local hospital during a paramotor aerial vehicle crash in Sattahip near Village Number 11.
The crash took place in a small meadow in Sattahip in the early afternoon. Emergency services were called by witnesses to the crash to find a heavily damaged paramotor glider and a seriously injured sixty year old British national lying on the ground in severe pain.
Witnesses in the area said that the man was regularly seen using his paramotor glider in the area and it is believed that he may have suffered engine trouble, leading to the vehicle to plummet to the ground where it seriously injured the British pilot.
The pilot initially survived the fall and was taken to Wat Yansangwararam Hospital, however, tragically passed away later from his injuries.
The British Embassy and his relatives are being informed of the incident, local Sattahip police told the press.
