Twelve year old girl rescued after getting stuck under car in multi vehicle collision in Pattaya

A 12 year-old girl has been rescued after being stuck under a sedan following two motorbikes colliding with each other in Pattaya last night, March 27, 2020.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 9:00PM near Soi Phon Prapa Nimit in Nongprue.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the injured 12 year old girl whose name has been withheld due to her age under a black sedan. Her friend, whose age and name were not available at press time, had sustained serious injuries. They were both taken to a local hospital. It was unclear who was driving the motorbike, notes The Pattaya News

Nearby, emergency responders found two damaged motorbikes. One other motorbike driver had sustained minor injuries and did not need medical assistance.

The sedan driver, 40 year old Mr. Chonlawit Learkkota told The Pattaya News that the two motorbikes crashed into each other in front of him. The twelve year old girl bounced under his car, where she became stuck. Mr. Learkkota was not injured during the incident.

Pattaya police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action and reviewing CCTV in the area.
