Bang Lamung –
A twenty year old Thai man has been arrested last night with methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine in Bang Lamung.
A team of the Bang Lamung Police Chief led by Colonel Pattayachai Pamornpiboon has arrested 20 year old Thai man Suppawit ‘Miw’ Munkorn.
Police seized 1.3 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 3,640 methamphetamine pills.
Miw allegedly admitted that he had received an order from a man known only as ‘A’ via the LINE application and had been selling primarily through social media.
‘A’ asked him to drop drugs in different places for his clients. Miw had received 500 baht each time for doing so. Miw claimed not to know exactly who A was or where the drugs came from and claimed he just worked for him and that the drugs were dropped at undisclosed locations for him to sell. It was unclear how exactly he had originally met the so called mystery man or started working for him.
Miw is facing charges with illegal possession of Category 1 Drugs and attempting to sell drugs.
