A 76 year old British man was injured tonight when he fell into a construction pit in Pattaya that he claimed was unlit and not marked clearly while out for a walk.
76 year old John Anthony Hart fell into the pit around 9:00 PM on Soi Chalerm Prakiet 21 while out for a walk.
He suffered several injuries and rescue workers had to assist him out of the construction pit.
He claimed to reporters at the scene that he fell because the pit was not clearly marked and had no lights or other warnings.
He was given medical assistance at the scene.
