Bangkok-

At the daily Press Conference from The Thai Government, with representatives from the Department of Disease Control and The Ministry of Public Health, Thai officials confirmed three more cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus in Thailand.

This brings the total number of cases in the country since the outbreak began in late January to 53.

All three cases are Thai Nationals.

The cases are a 41 year old Thai woman who was a close contact of a Thai man in a previously confirmed case who recently returned from Italy. This case, The Pattaya News notes, is connected to the man who previously sought hospital treatment in the Chonburi area.

The other two cases are a married couple, 46 and 47 years old. The wife had just returned from Italy and infected her husband.

Their contacts are being traced and they are all currently in a hospital getting proper treatment.
