Motorbike driver seriously injured after landing on piece of steel in motorbike accident in Pattaya

Pattaya-
A motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after landing on a small piece of steel jutting out from a sidewalk after a motorbike accident early this morning in Pattaya.

The Nongprue Police was notified of the accident at 3:00AM this morning on Pattanakarn Road near Khao Sao Thong Thong Temple.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a heavily damaged motorbike.

Nearby, they found a Thai man aged around 35 – 40 years old with no identification. He had sustained injuries from a large wound on his chest after being impaled on a piece of sharp steel on the side of the road. He was rushed to a local hospital.

There were no witnesses and Nongprue police are checking CCTV to find the cause of the accident.
