About Us:
U.S. 7th Fleet Band was created in 1943 with the establishment of the U.S. 7th Fleet. Homeported out of
Yokosuka, Japan aboard the USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), the band supports the U.S. 7th Fleet Theater
Security Cooperation mission to strengthen relationships with partner nations throughout the Indo-Asia
Pacific Region.
For the February 25th afternoon concert 12PM to 1PM (Central Festival):
–Far East Edition Brass Band–
This seven-piece ensemble delivers high-energy instrumental arrangements of popular tunes and comes
loaded with lots of crowd interaction.
For the February 25th evening concert 7PM to 8PM (Central Marina):
–Far East Edition Popular Music Group–
This eight-piece ensemble specializes in performing American Top-40 hits from the 1970’s to today.
