Sa Kaeo-
A 26 year old man decapitated his neighbor last evening at Ban Lao Oi in Sa Kaeo after an argument with his 68 year old neighbor.
Mr. Charen “Nick” Sriprom, 26, who tested positive for drugs and was severely intoxicated, attacked his neighbor, 68 year old Thawaphon Phoem with a shovel after an argument in which Thawaphon allegedly complained about loud noise coming from Mr. Sriprom’s home.
Mr. Charen was found hiding near the side of a house when police arrived and attempted to unsuccessfully evade police.
He allegedly admitted to the crime at the scene and was arrested and taken to the local police station. He had tried to drag the body of Mr. Phoem away after the attack when other neighbors called police.
Police are continuing thier investigation and interviewing witnesses in the incident.
