Announcement for all US Citizens living abroad:
You can register to vote from abroad by applying for your Absentee Ballot for the Primaries and the Presidential elections at www.votefromabroad.com.
This is a non-partisan website that will direct you to apply to your County Clerk Elections official where you last voted in the USA. It takes 5 minutes and produces the official US government form, fully completed with your information, in a pdf file format.
After you print and sign it, you can mail (or email by adding your signature electronically) the application to your local US registrar of voters in your home state. No matter what your party affiliation is, this website will quickly assist you to receive your absentee ballots. And this year, many States are permitting voting via email instead of snail mail!
To assist all US voters, answer any questions, and make applications via the website, I will be hosting a Vote From Abroad desk at the Amari Ballroom, on Beach Road, just down from the Dolphin Circle, on the mornings of Friday 7 February and Friday 14 February, from 9 AM until 1 PM. Voters abroad are also advised to check that that their registration is still current, as many States now require voters to apply for their absentee ballots for each election cycle.
