Sri Racha –
62 year old Mrs. Pranee Sagniemngam, a lottery seller in Bor Thong, has won the first prize in the Thai national lottery yesterday, receiving a prize of 6 million baht.

The Thai lottery is announced twice each month (the 1st and 16th of each month) but for the 16th this months the lottery was postponed due to Thailand’s National Teacher Day.

Mrs. Pranee went to the Sri Racha Police Station with the set of the lottery tickets with the winning number of 491774.

Mrs Pranee is a lottery seller herself. The winning lottery ticket number was one of the few tickets she had not sold. She decided to purchase the ticket herself and was shocked to find that it was a winning ticket.
