Pattaya –
A security guard has sustained serious injuries after falling from a railway bridge in Pattaya after midnight this morning.
Rescue workers were notified of the incident at 12:22AM at a bridge above the railway in Soi Nern Plubwarn.
Rescue workers and The Pattaya News arrived at the bridge which is about five metres from the ground.
At the ground rescue workers found 38 year old Mr. Danai Kemglad who is a nearby companies security guard.
He smelled heavily of alcohol, rescue workers stated to The Pattaya News. He had sustained serious injuries.
Rescue workers has carried him on foot and walked for about one kilometer to a nearby ambulance. He was rushed to a local hospital.
It has not been confirmed if Mr. Danai fell from the bridge or jumped from the bridge. Police are investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV near the bridge.
